Abstract
T In this study, the possibility of off-season production of the Turkman 4 grape variety in Yazd province (Taft city - Saleh Abad village) was investigated with 139 seedlings on an area of 450 square meters during the years 2022 to 2025. In order to conduct this research, one-year-old seedlings of the Turkman 4 grape variety were planted in a nylon-covered greenhouse with a spacing of 1 x 3 (one meter on the row and 3 meters between rows, respectively) in March 2022 and were trained using the one-way cordon system in three wire rows. After the fruits ripened, the weight of the berries, the weight of the clusters, the number of clusters per vine, the yield of each vine, the total yield per square meter, and the water use efficiency were calculated. According to the results obtained, the average cluster weight of the Turkman 4 cultivar in greenhouse conditions in the first year of fruiting was (173.16 gr) and the weight of its berries (1.52 gr). Also, the average yield o per vine in the first year of fruiting (three-year-old trees) was 1.99 kg. Considering the total yield of the greenhouse (277.80 kg) and the average selling price, the income from the sale of fruits in this greenhouse was equivalent to 41,671,476 Tomans. In addition to selling fruit, grape leaves (leaves obtained from pruning during the growing season) were also sold, generating additional income for the greenhouse owner of 7,500,000 Tomans. In total, the income from this small-scale greenhouse was 49,171,476 Tomans and the net profit was 40,671,176 Tomans. Certainly, with proper management and regulation of the beginning of the growing season, so that the fruits are offered to the market in mid-May to early June, the selling price of the product will be much higher.
